Constraint settings
You can specify the constraint types available to your search users. Set up every constraint type in the corresponding block.
To make a constraint type available in the search form, enable the corresponding block using the radio button in the block header.
The order of blocks in the settings interface (top to bottom) is the same as the order of pseudo links in the search results (left to right). To change the block position, drag it.
To save the changes that you made to the constraints (including turning the blocks on and off), click Save.
Set up constraint types
To set up a constraint of any type, click the block name. There are no available settings for date constraints.

In the Site sections block, you can set up the section tree. Three levels of nesting are supported.
To change the nesting level of a section, use the arrows on the left side of the line. When you click the arrow, the parent constraint is moved together with all the child constraints.
You can also change the section order and nesting by dragging the lines. Note: if you drag the parent section, the child sections aren't moved along with it but are shifted to a higher level in the tree.
-
The Keywords block contains a text field with lines of keywords. To delete a constraint, delete the corresponding line. Empty lines are ignored.
-
In the Custom constraints block, you can create custom constraints in the Yandex query language. To view the supported operators, go to the Yandex Search Help.
Note
Instead of the
site:
operator, you have to use the following construction:url:www.example.com/about | url:example.com/about*
To change the order of constraints, drag the lines.
Select multiple constraints
By default, a site visitor can select several constraint options at once. To disable this feature for any constraint type, expand the block and deselect the option that allows selecting multiple constraints at the same time. The option is available in every block except the date constraint block.
