Notifications

Yandex services use push notifications to send different helpful messages, such as weather warnings.

Enable or disable notifications

To set up notifications:

  1. On the home screen, tap (profile picture).
  2. Tap App settings → Push notifications.
  3. Select the notifications you want to get.

Problems with notifications

I don't receive notifications

To receive notifications, allow them in your device system settings and in the app settings.

App settings

  1. On the home screen, tap (profile picture).
  2. Tap App settings → Push notifications.
  3. Check whether you granted the necessary permissions.

Device settings

  1. Open your device settings.
  2. In the list, select Yandex.
  3. Open Notifications.
  4. Make sure that Allow notifications is enabled.
I disabled notifications but still receive them

Make sure all notifications are turned off.

App settings

Make sure push notifications are disabled:

  1. On the home screen, tap (profile picture).
  2. Tap App settings → Push notifications.
  3. Make sure the notifications are disabled.

Device settings

  1. Open your device settings.
  2. In the list, select Yandex.
  3. Open Notifications.
  4. Make sure that Allow notifications is disabled.
