Document scanner

Smart Camera can scan documents and process them (e.g., to increase contrast).

1. Open the Yandex app and tap in the SmartBox.

2. Select the Scan mode.

3. Point the camera at the document and take a picture by tapping the button. Or select a document from the device's gallery (in the lower-left corner, tap the round icon with a thumbnail of the last photo).

4. Select the document mode at the bottom of the screen:

   • Original: The document photo remains unchanged.

   • Scan: A processed color photo with increased contrast.

   • Black and white: A processed black and white photo with increased contrast.

5. You can edit the photo:

   : Rotate 90° to the left.

   : Rotate 90° to the right.

   : Crop.

   : Delete the document.

6. On the panel at the bottom, tap:

   : To retake.

   : To take a photo of the next page.

   : To save the result in PNG, PDF, or JPG format. Name the file and choose where to save it. You can also share the file.
