Create a family folder
With the Yandex 360 "For a family" plan, you can create family folders to store shared files and quickly share them with other members of the family group.
When you make changes to a shared folder, such as renaming or adding a file, all the authorized users see your changes. Information about the changes also appears in History on their Yandex Disk.
With edit access to the folder, the family members will be able to edit your files and upload new ones. This allows you to work on the same files together.
Any member of the family group can create a family folder. A created folder is accessible to all family members. The creator of the family folder will then be able to grant access to it to new family members or any other users, as well as restrict access.
You can perform the same actions with family folders as with shared folders on Yandex Disk.
Conditions for family folders display:
- Active "For a family" plan.
- Access to the family folder.
- Active invitation to the folder. Confirmation isn't required for family group members — it's automatic.
Family folders are displayed on the Files and Family tabs. Each folder is marked with .
The family folder doesn't appear on Yandex Disk if the folder is deleted or not yet created.
If you've joined another family or left a family, you can still use the shared family folder as long as you have access to it.
