## Changing access settings for individual pages {#access}

When moving a page with the **Same as parent page** access type or deleting its parent page, the page's access type is updated as follows:

- If you delete a top-level page with the **Some employees** access type, the list of users and groups won't be copied to subpages with the **Same as parent page** access type.

- If you select the **Keep as is** option when moving a page with the **Same as parent page** access type, it retains the access type of the original parent page but not its access settings for individual users and groups.
