# Collab mode
The new Wiki editor supports page co-editing. You can collaborate simultaneously with colleagues across multiple devices, without any overlaps or data conflicts, and see real-time changes from all users before the new version of the page is published.
This can be useful during meetings, when multiple colleagues are adding plans and ideas to a page, or when updating pages that are frequently edited or expanded by different people.
## Turning on collab mode {#turn-on}
### When creating a page {#new}
To enable collab mode when creating a new page:
1. In the [page creation](https://yandex.com.tr/support/wiki/en/create-page.md) window, toggle **Collab mode**.
1. Click **Publish** to enable collab mode for other users who have access to this page.
### On an existing page {#old}
To enable collab mode on an existing page:
1. Go to the Wiki page of interest.
1. In the top right corner, click → **Settings**.
1. Select **Collab mode**.
## Collaborating on a page {#collaborative-work}
When you're in collab mode, you'll see the icon in the top right corner of the page. People who are currently working on the page are shown next to this icon.
You can see other users' cursor positions in the editor. When a user adds, modifies, or deletes the page's contents, other people can see these changes in real time.
You can collaborate in two editor modes: visual editor and markup. To switch between these modes, click **Settings** on the toolbar and select the preferred mode.
To save the changes made by all users, click **Publish** in the top right corner.
To exit collab mode, click **Close draft** in the top right corner.
## Limitations {#limits}
In collab mode, changes are synced in real-time among multiple users, so there are a few things to keep in mind:
* Things to keep in mind when using the visual editor:
* When one user switches to another [tab](https://yandex.com.tr/support/wiki/en/wysiwyg/block-format.md#tabs), other users remain on their current tab.
* If a user drags an element with another user's cursor inside, the cursor will remain in its place and will not move with the element.
* To collaborate in real time, all users must be working in the same mode: the visual editor or Markdown.
When one user changes the editor mode, it is changed for all collaborating users. Co-editors will receive a notification informing them about the switch and who initiated it.
* If the page contains unpublished changes, you can't switch the editor mode. A warning appears if you attempt to do so. To switch modes, first save the page by clicking **Publish** in the top right corner.
* If a user is editing a dynamic block on the page, such as text in a dynamic table cell or a chart, those changes may be lost if you switch the editor mode.
* Note regarding [version history](https://yandex.com.tr/support/wiki/en/history.md): you can view and compare previous page versions, but you can't restore them. To revert the page to the previous version, disable collab mode in the [settings](#old).
