# Ungrouping sites

Sites that were previously [grouped](https://yandex.com.tr/support/webmaster/en/yandex-indexing/site-addresses.md) can be ungrouped if:

- There are no redirects from one site to another.
- One of the sites isn't accessible to the robot.

As a rule, ungrouping occurs within a few weeks after the Yandex robot visited the sites. You can speed up the ungrouping process:

1. Go to Yandex Webmaster and select the site address recognized as alternate.
1. In the **Indexing** section, select **Ungrouping site addresses** and click **Apply**.

When the site addresses are ungrouped, they'll appear in Yandex Webmaster as separate sites.

If your request for site ungrouping is not accepted, it means that at least one of the site versions has a redirect. Check all of the site versions: `example.com`, `www.example.com`, `http://example.com`, `https://example.com`, `http://www.example.com`, and `https://www.example.com`.

To have Yandex Webmaster notify you about ungrouping site addresses, [set up notifications](https://yandex.com.tr/support/webmaster/en/service/notifications.md) (Updating the primary site address) for the primary and alternate addresses.

A notification about ungrouping may also arrive if the bot's database has no information about alternate addresses. Alternate addresses do not appear in search results, so the information about them is deleted from the robot's database after some time. This does not affect the main site address and how it appears in search results.

In Yandex Webmaster, go to the **Indexing** → **Crawl statistics** page and check if it contains data. If there is no information in the database, Yandex Webmaster displays zero values or a message saying "Data will be available soon".

If both sites respond with the 200 OK HTTP code, they can participate in search results independently of each other.

To group sites, [set up a redirects](https://yandex.com.tr/support/webmaster/en/yandex-indexing/moving-site.md#redirect) from the site that shouldn't be included in the search results to the needed one and use the [Moving a site](https://yandex.com.tr/support/webmaster/en/yandex-indexing/moving-site.md#move) tool.

One of the sites is not accessible to the robot.

If a site is unavailable, it is ungrouped and excluded from search results.

[Check the site's availability](https://webmaster.yandex.com.tr/tools/server-response/) and set up a redirect if needed.

The bot's database has no data on an alternate site address

In this case, there is no need to regroup the sites. You can submit a
 site move request, but Yandex does not guarantee that the sites will be grouped.
