# Saved copy
A saved copy lets you see the page version last indexed by the Yandex bot (view the full page version or only the text) and also see the last indexing date.
To view the saved copy:
1. Enter your query in the search bar and click **Find**.
1. In the search results, find the desired page to view its saved copy.
1. Click to the right of the page name.
1. In the context menu, select **Saved copy**.

Styles in the displayed saved copy may differ from the page’s appearance in search results, including the layout of elements. Part of the site content may be missing, or the page may be empty. Also, [error 404](https://yandex.com.tr/support/webmaster/en/error-dictionary/http-codes.md#client-4xx) may be displayed, even though the page responds with 200 OK code.
This is because the saved copy is created at [https://yandexwebcache.net/](https://yandexwebcache.net/) rather than on the site. When a page is displayed, additional files with styles, scripts, etc. are often used.
If these links are specified in relative address format `/style.css`, the address will be in `https://yandexwebcache.net/style.css` format when the saved copy is created. When this address is opened, the current page may be displayed incorrectly. To fix this, specify absolute links to the files.
However, this situation does not affect page indexing by the bot and relates specifically to the process of creating the saved copy.

Sometimes the saved copy cannot display text in the encoding used on the site. In this case, the text may be displayed incorrectly. For example:

To fix this, use UTF-8 encoding for the pages. However, this situation does not affect page indexing by the bot and relates specifically to the process of creating the saved copy.
To check that a page is displayed correctly in search results, enter its address in the search bar with the `URL:` operator (for example, `URL:ya.ru`). If the encoding error persists, use the form below to contact support.

The `noindex` tag does not affect the page’s saved copy. The saved copy is a copy of the original page. It does not show what was or wasn’t indexed. With the `noindex` tag, you can be sure that particular text will not get into the bot’s database and search.

The saved copy does not gather data directly from the search engine database that is displayed in search results. That’s why an older or newer version of the page that has not been updated yet may be displayed in the search. This does not affect the search results. If the saved copy has a newer version, this means that the page has already been crawled by the bot after the changes were made. In this case, wait a few days for the search engine database to update.
