# Page check

With this tool, you can find out:
- What response code the bot receives from the page. For details, see the [HTTP status codes reference](https://yandex.com.tr/support/webmaster/en/error-dictionary/http-codes.md) section. If the response code differs from 200 OK, the page may be excluded from the search.
- How the page content looks to the bot. This helps determine how accessible the page content is to the bot.
- Page status (e.g., whether it is included in or excluded from the search).
- How well the page is adapted for [mobile devices](https://yandex.com.tr/support/webmaster/en/recommendations/mobile-site.md).

To check the status of pages with JavaScript in the search, go to the following page in Yandex Webmaster:

{% list tabs %}

- Indexing → Check page

  In the field, enter the URL of the site page you want to check and the device type.

  During the check you can select a bot to find out if it has access to the page. The list includes the main bots that visit most sites. Once you select the robot, its User-agent is displayed under the field. For more information, see [Yandex robots in server logs](https://yandex.com.tr/support/webmaster/en/robot-workings/check-yandex-robots.md#robot-in-logs).

  You can also check the response if your server responds to the If-Modified-Since header with the HTTP status code 304 (Not Modified). To do this, specify the date and time in the **If-Modified-Since** field:
  - When the page being checked was last updated. In this case, the received response must contain the HTTP status code 200 OK.
  - A different date: you'll get a response with code 304 (Not Modified).

- Indexing → JavaScript page rendering (β)

  In the field, enter the URL of the site page you want to check and the device type.

{% endlist %}
