# Sitelinks

Sitelinks make your site's [snippet](*snippet) more informative by helping users find important information faster.

## Conditions for creating sitelinks {#marking}

Sitelinks are generated automatically by the Yandex robot. The robot determines the most visited sections of the site and generates sitelinks under the following conditions:

- Short and clear page names accurately reflect their content.
- The link is created only based on the site’s internal links, and its text can consist of the names of internal and external pages.
- Sections and subsections are shown in the menu or are the most popular clicks from the page for which the sitelinks are generated.

## Displaying sitelinks {#when-shown}

Sitelinks can be shown for the site's home page and internal pages. Sitelinks can be displayed as:

**Links**

**[Navigation response](https://yandex.ru/support/webmaster/search-appearance/navigation.html)**

To display a particular type, the following conditions must be met:

<!-- source: en/_includes/search-results/quick-links-result/id-quick-links-result/del1.md -->
When crawling the site again, the robot can remove a sitelink for the following reasons:
<!-- endsource: en/_includes/search-results/quick-links-result/id-quick-links-result/del1.md -->

- It has found a more suitable page for the sitelink.
- Your site structure has changed.
- The site no longer meets the [Conditions for creating sitelinks](https://yandex.com.tr/support/webmaster/en/search-results/quick-links.md#marking).
