# How to set up subscriptions
Use the Yandex Tracker notification builder to set up subscriptions with detailed and flexible conditions for sending notifications.
With subscriptions, you can:
- Receive notifications about events in issues, [projects, and portfolios](#create).
- Select a channel for receiving notifications.
- [Use templates](#choose-template) to quickly create a new subscription.
- Share a link to [your notification rule](#share).
## Creating a new subscription {#create}
To create a new rule for notifications:
1. On the left panel, click **Settings** → [ **Notifications** ](https://tracker.yandex.com/settings/subscriptions).
1. Click **Add subscription**.
1. Think up a name for the subscription. It will appear in emails and help sort all emails by subscription into a single folder. For more information on how to set up mailbox folders, read [this guide](https://yandex.ru/support/mail/web/preferences/filters/autosorting.html).
1. Select the object you want to receive updates about:
- **Issue**
- **Project**
- **Portfolio**

Once saved, you can't change this setting.

1. Click **Add parameters** and set filter conditions for the objects you want to monitor.
1. Below, specify the events you want to be notified about. To receive notifications for all events, keep the default value.
1. Choose how to receive notifications:
- By [**Email** ](https://mail.yandex.com/).
- Via **Notification center**.
- In [**Telegram** ](https://web.telegram.org/). If this is the first time you're setting up a subscription for Telegram notifications, link an account: [How to set up notifications in Telegram](https://yandex.com.tr/support/tracker/en/user/notification-telegram.md).
- Via [**Messenger** ](https://yandex.com/chat). This notification channel is only available to users in Yandex 360 organizations.
Adjust your privacy settings in Yandex Messenger to ensure you can receive direct messages. In addition, you can [configure the bot](#notification-bot) that delivers notifications.
- Via **Digest** If this is the first time you're setting up a digest subscription, set a schedule for receiving it: [Setting a schedule](https://yandex.com.tr/support/tracker/en/user/notification-digest.md#schedule).
- Via **Mobile app** You'll get push notifications in the Yandex Tracker mobile app. To use this channel, allow notifications from the Yandex Tracker app in your device settings.
You can select multiple options.
1. Click **Create subscription**.
Once created, the subscription will appear on the [settings page](https://tracker.yandex.com/settings/subscriptions). You can edit, suspend, or remove it.
> For example, if you want to receive notifications when you're assigned an issue, you can set up the following subscription conditions:
>
> * Under **When in issue:**, select **Where I'm specified as** → **Assignee**.
> * Under **What happened:**, select the **Issue created** and **Assignee field changed** events.
> * Select a channel for receiving notifications.
### Subscribing to a queue {#subscribe-to-queue}
You can get notifications about changes in a specific queue. To do this:
1. On the left panel, click **Queues** and select the desired queue from the list.
1. In the upper-right corner of the page, select **Queue actions** → **Subscribe to queue**.
1. In the window that opens, specify the queue events you want to receive notifications about. To receive notifications for all events, keep the default value.
1. Choose how to receive notifications.
1. Click **Create notification**.
### Using a template {#use-template}
With templates, you can create new rules faster. You can view the available templates on the [subscription creation page](https://tracker.yandex.com/settings/subscriptions/new).
To select a template, hover over it and click **Use**. In the window that opens, you can reconfigure the template.
To share a template with a colleague, hover over this template and click **Copy link to template**.

## Enabling notifications about your own actions {#notify-my-actions}
By default, you don't receive notifications for changes you make. To enable notifications about your own actions:
1. On the left panel, click **Settings** → [ **Notifications** ](https://tracker.yandex.com/settings/subscriptions).
1. Click above the subscription list on the right and enable the **Notify about my actions** option.
## Resetting values to defaults {#reset}
To be notified of only the most important events, reset the notification settings to the system settings. To do this, in the upper-right corner of the page, click → **Reset to defaults**.
## Sharing the settings {#share}
To share a link to the form with preset subscription settings:
1. Click the subscription name.
1. In the top right corner of the window that opens, click **Copy link**.
Users you send the link to can click **Duplicate to yourself** and create a subscription with these settings.
## Editing a subscription {#edit}
1. Open the subscription settings using one of these methods:
- Click the subscription name.
- In the subscription line, click **Actions** → **Edit**.
2. Edit the subscription settings and click **Save**.

Please note that you can't delete the **You were summoned to an issue** event and disable the **Notification center** channel in the settings of the **Invited to comment or reply** system subscription. You can set up the **You have a new comment reply** event and other notification channels.

## Deactivating a subscription {#disable}
You can deactivate or remove any subscription, except the **Invited to comment or reply** system rule.

- Suspend
To pause or resume notifications for the subscription, click the toggle in the subscription line.
- Delete
To permanently delete a subscription:
1. Click the subscription name.
1. In the upper-right corner of the window that opens, click **Delete**.

## Change the name and profile picture of the Yandex Messenger bot {#notification-bot}
If you set up notifications via Yandex Messenger, you'll receive them from the Yandex Tracker bot. Yandex 360 for Business organization administrators can rename the bot and change its profile picture. To do this:
1. Go to the [organization account](https://admin.yandex.com).
1. Open the [**Bots in the Messenger** page](https://admin.yandex.com/bot-platform).
1. Next to the bot's name, click → **Configure**.
1. Make your changes and click **Save**.
