# Issue board

Each project in Yandex Tracker has an issue board of the **Basic** type. A project issue board is automatically created when you create a project. Basic boards allow you to arrange issues in columns based on their status; however, they do not support Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.

To go to a project issue board:

1. 1. Go to the **Issue board** tab.

By default, this board is named **`<project_name>` project board**.

## Adding issues to a board {#add-tickets}

All project issues are automatically shown on the board linked to this project. There are various methods to add issues to the board:

If you add an issue to the project board, it's automatically added to the project. If you delete an issue from the project board, the issue is also deleted from the project.

## Deleting a board {#delete-board}

You can't delete a project board while the project exists.

If you delete a project, the project issue board will remain in the <svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" width="18" height="18" class="g-icon gn-composite-bar-item__icon" fill="currentColor" stroke="none" aria-hidden="true"><svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" fill="none" viewBox="0 0 16 16"><path fill="currentColor" fill-rule="evenodd" d="M1.75 2a.75.75 0 0 0 0 1.5h12.5a.75.75 0 0 0 0-1.5H1.75ZM5.5 6.5H4a.5.5 0 0 0-.5.5v5.5a.5.5 0 0 0 .5.5h1.5a.5.5 0 0 0 .5-.5V7a.5.5 0 0 0-.5-.5ZM4 5a2 2 0 0 0-2 2v5.5a2 2 0 0 0 2 2h1.5a2 2 0 0 0 2-2V7a2 2 0 0 0-2-2H4Zm8 1.5h-1.5a.5.5 0 0 0-.5.5v2a.5.5 0 0 0 .5.5H12a.5.5 0 0 0 .5-.5V7a.5.5 0 0 0-.5-.5ZM10.5 5a2 2 0 0 0-2 2v2a2 2 0 0 0 2 2H12a2 2 0 0 0 2-2V7a2 2 0 0 0-2-2h-1.5Z" clip-rule="evenodd"/></svg></svg> **Boards** section on the left panel. In this case, you'll be able to work with this board just like with a regular issue board. This means you'll be able to [delete it](https://yandex.com.tr/support/tracker/en/manager/agile-set-board.md#delete-board) if needed.
