Manage a call

The person who creates a call automatically becomes its host and can mute participants' microphones, turn off their cameras and screen sharing, disable recording.

Make a co-host

Only people who are logged in to Yandex Telemost with a Yandex ID can become co-hosts.

1. Click .
2. To the right of the participant's name, click .
3. Select Make co-host.

You can assign co-hosts when creating a meeting in Yandex Calendar. How to do this

Turn off camera, mute microphone, or lower hand

Participants can still unmute themselves, turn on their camera, or raise their hands at any time.

Stop screen sharing

1. Click .
2. To the right of the participant who's sharing their screen, press  → Stop sharing your screen.

After that, they can share their screen again at any time.

Disable call recording for participants

By default, any participant can record calls in Yandex Telemost. The host and co-hosts can turn off this feature:

1. During a call, press  → Participant permissions.
2. Disable the Record call option.

After this, the Start recording menu item will disappear for all participants. For those who have already started recording, the recording will stop and won't be saved. Only the host and co-hosts will be able to record the call.

Remove participants from a call

The host and co-hosts can remove any participant from the call.

1. Click .
2. To the right of the participant's name, press  → Remove from call.

End call for all participants

Press  → End call for all.
