Leaving ratings

You can rate organizations, places, movies, TV shows, games, doctors, online courses, banking products, sites, services, and goods.

Each rating you leave earns you five points, advancing your level in the service. In addition, the page shows all the ratings you've previously given in other Yandex services.

Leave a rating

1. Go to the Ratings and reviews page.
2. In the Tasks tab, select the object you'd like to rate.
3. Choose the desired number of stars.

How does Yandex know what I should rate?

Yandex uses your location and online activity data to prompt you to rate objects you've likely recently interacted with. This way, Yandex collects honest ratings and reviews that help our users make informed decisions.

Here's what data can be taken into account:

• Your activity in Yandex and our partners' services.

  We don't share your activity data with third parties. This data is used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

• Your approximate location (determined based on your device's IP address, GPS signals, nearby Wi-Fi access points, and cellular network data).

  Note

  The Yandex home page uses location data to display the local weather forecast, the event calendar, and information about traffic in your city. Your location also affects the search results. For example, if you're looking for a gym, Yandex will show you the nearest fitness clubs.

What if I am prompted to rate an unfamiliar object

If you're prompted to rate an organization, site, or other object that's not familiar to you, select Haven't visited it, or another similar button. This will help us improve our recommendations. The Yandex team will take your response into account to recommend more relevant objects in the future.
