“Openstat tags” report

This report includes statistics on Openstat tags if you use them in links to your site.

To view the report: Reports → Standard reports → Sources → Openstat tags.

Ways to use this report

You can use an Openstat tag if you host your ads on different platforms. Yandex.Metrica tracks clicks on Yandex.Direct ads using the yclid tag, which is why we recommend viewing statistics in special Yandex.Direct reports.

If you want this data to be properly reflected in your report, it's important to create your tag correctly.

Report structure and settings

The information provided in the report is grouped based on tag parameters. The report supports all settings available in Yandex.Metrica.

Yandex.Metrica receives information about different advertising systems from labels, which are parameters in the ad's link. If an ad system doesn't add a special label to your link, you can manually form the link using the UTM or Openstat label. For the complete list of values, see the "Advertising systems" report section.

There could be several reasons for this.

Imagine the path from the user clicking the link to the Yandex.Metrica report:

Creating the label for the link.
Clicking the link and through to the site.
Loading the code snippet for the tag on the site.
Collecting data for the label and analyzing reports.

As a result, there are many steps between the first and last stage where data could be lost.
