Weekly Telegram reports

Yandex Metrica can send weekly reports on specific statistics as Telegram messages. The report contains data for the Monday-to-Sunday period and arrives on Mondays.

To request a report, you must be the tag owner or have editing rights. All users with access to the tag will receive the same report, except for users with representative rights.

The report may contain the following statistics:

• Sessions: The sequence of actions (activity) performed by a single user (on a single tag). What is considered as user activity: pageviews, clicks on outbound links, file downloads, and triggers of the functions reachGoal, hit, params, extLink, file, notBounce. Learn more
• Users: Internet users who visited your website during a particular period of time. Learn more
• Page depth: Number of pageviews on the website within a single session.
• Bounces: Under certain conditions, a visit is considered a bounce.
• Basket. Displays how often site users open the shopping cart page on an online store’s website.
• Purchase. Displays the number of orders placed on an online store’s website.
• Conversions and achieving goals, including automatic goals.

Step 1. Enable a report

1. Go to Yandex Metrica.
2. Go to the Account settings → Weekly Telegram report page.
3. If you don’t have Telegram installed, click Install Telegram. If you have Telegram installed, click Log in with Telegram.
4. Enter the phone number that your Telegram account is linked to. Click Next to receive confirmation in Telegram.
5. Open the message you received in Telegram and click Accept.
6. Return to Yandex Metrica. Go to the Account settings → Weekly Telegram report page and also click Accept.
7. Click Report customization and select one or more tags you wish to receive weekly reports for.
   If the Select tags field says Everything I can edit or Everything I am the owner of, you cannot add or remove tags. To add or remove tags, select Some tags. You can select up to 200 tags.

Step 2. Set up the report

If you don’t configure your reports, it will include data for all the statistics listed above, which are collected by the tag.

1. Select the desired tag in Yandex Metrica.

2. Go to Settings -> Weekly Telegram report.

3. Select the data you wish to include in the report.
   To receive data on conversions and achieved goals created with the tag, enable the Goals option and select one or more goals. Data on the selected goals will be displayed in the Conversions section of your report.

4. Click Save.

Disabling the report

1. In Yandex Metrica, go to the Account settings → Weekly Telegram report page.
2. To cancel a report for a specific tag:
   1. Select Some tags, maximum 200.
   2. Hover over the tag you want to cancel the report for and click .
3. To unsubscribe, click Unsubscribe and confirm your action.
