Monitoring access to tags

In your organization account, you can:

  • Grant or revoke access to tags and change roles.
  • Monitor quota usage for requests to the Reports API.
  • Monitor the volume of requested logs (Logs API).
  • Track user activity in the Yandex Metrica interface.

The section with users and their access rights displays, for each user:

  • List of tags the user has access to.
  • The user’s roles for the tags.
  • Number of times the user accessed the Reports API and Logs API for each tag within the current day.

Viewing user list

  1. Go to your Organization account.
  2. Above the tag list table, select the Users tab. You'll see a list of users who have access to the tags added to your Yandex Metrica Pro plan.
  3. To see the tags a user has access to, click to the left of their login.

The table displays:

  • User login.
  • API requests • interface: Number of requests to the API made by the user within the selected period for a specific interface.
  • API requests • direct: Number of direct requests to the API made by the user within the selected period.
  • Logs API log volume • GB: Volume of Logs API logs requested by the user for the selected period.
  • Tags available to the user.
  • Access source (direct or representative, along with the scope of permissions — view, analytics, or edit).

Manage access to tags

If you have editing rights to a tag, you can manage who can access it.

Only the user who granted the role can manage representative access rights.

  1. Go to your Organization account.
  2. Above the tag list table, select the Users tab. This opens the access configuration window where you need to:
    • Specify the tag names.
    • List the usernames separated by commas for whom you need to change the access type.
  3. Specify the type of access rights. To revoke all rights, select Revoke access.
  4. Click Save. Access rights will be updated or revoked for the selected users.
