Barcode scanner

Barcodes store product details in a series of black and white bars.

Use the Smart Camera in the Yandex app to find a product by its barcode and view stores where you can buy it.

Note

Allow Yandex Start to access your camera and files in the device settings.

Open the Yandex app and tap in the SmartBox.
Select one of the options:
- Point the camera at the barcode.
- Select an image from the photo gallery (in the lower-left corner, tap the round icon with a thumbnail of the latest photo).
The app will frame the recognized barcode. Tap the dot that the app has marked the barcode with.
Go to the Products tab.
Tap Search for product to see a photo (if available) and details about the product.
Tap Find in stores, and the app will show you where to buy it online.
