# Weather

Weather information is available in the Yandex Maps app version 25.5 and above.

In Yandex Maps, you can check the weather outside. To do this, select an area and tap the button at the upper-right corner of the screen to open a card with the next day's forecast.

The weather button is displayed:

- On the home screen.
- On the route selection screen.
- In **Transport** mode.
- When using search.

Information in the forecast card updates as you move across the map.

To see if precipitation is expected in the selected area within the next two hours, tap **Precipitation map** in the forecast card.
