# Correct errors on a route
You can report inaccuracies you find on routes. Your edit will appear in Yandex Maps after it passes moderation. To check status information, tap ** (profile picture)** → **Edits**.
## Report an error while on your route {#routs}
You can report inaccuracies while riding public transport or moving along a walking, scooter, or bicycle route.
To correct an inaccuracy on a route:
1. Tap  in the lower-left corner.
1. Move the map so that the placemark points at the location.
1. Tap **+ Comment** and describe the inaccuracy on the route. Attach photos.
1. Tap **Submit**.
## Report an inaccuracy while creating a route {#routs-public}
You can report inaccuracies when plotting a route on public transport or a car. To do this, follow these steps:
1. [Plot](https://yandex.com.tr/support/m-maps/en/start-building-route.md) a route on public transport or a car.
1. On the route selection screen, tap:
- **Details** → **Edit information** for public transport routes.
- **** → **Report an issue** for car routes.
1. Select one of the following:
- **Route inaccessible by transport** to indicate a section that cannot be accessed by public transport.
- **Add item to map** to indicate a place that's missing.
- **Better route available** to draw a more convenient and faster route.
- **Other** to add a comment about the route.
1. Enter the information about the inaccuracy and tap **Submit**.
