# Correct or update information

You can report inaccuracies on the map. Your edit will appear in Yandex Maps after it passes moderation. To check status information, tap **![](_assets/profile-icon.svg) (profile picture)** → **Edits**.

Business owners can track changes made to their organization's card in their Yandex Business account. For details, see the [Change history](https://yandex.ru/support/business-priority/ru/manage/changes) section of Yandex Business Help.

## Edit place information {#object}

To edit information about a place that is not an organization (for example, a building):
1. Tap and hold the map point.
1. Tap **See what's here**, then select **Edit building info** or **Incorrect information**.
1. Choose what exactly you want to edit: for example **Change address** or **Add business**.
1. Enter the information about the inaccuracy and tap **Submit**.

## Edit information about an organization {#organization}

1. Open the [organization card](https://yandex.com.tr/support/m-maps/en/objects.md#company).
1. Tap **Edit info** or **Incorrect information**.
1. Select one of the following:
    
    - **Incorrect information** to edit the organization's name, location on the map, or other details.
    - **Closed or doesn't exist** to indicate that the organization is closed temporarily or permanently, has moved, or has never existed.
    - **Edit location and entrances**.
    - **Accessibility** to specify whether the organization's building is accessible to people with disabilities.
    - **Other** to add a comment or photo.
    
1. Enter the information about the inaccuracy and tap **Submit**.

## Add a place {#organization-place}

1. Tap and hold the starting point.
1. Select one of the following **Add item to map**.
1. Select the item type: for example, **Business**, **Address**, **Parking**, or **Other item** (if none of the types apply).
1. Fill in the information about the place. Required fields are marked with an asterisk.
1. Tap **Submit**, and the place will be sent in for moderation. You can check the moderation status in the [Edits](https://yandex.ru/maps/profile/ugc/feedback) tab in the mobile browser.

You can also add a place from the search query:

1. Enter your query in the search bar.
1. At the end of the list, select **Add an object or address**.

[Moderation of an organization](https://yandex.com/support/business-priority/add-company/add-org.html#phone) can sometimes take a long time. If the status of your request doesn't change for more than two weeks, contact [support](https://yandex.com/support/sprav/troubleshooting/main.html).

You can add your company to Yandex Maps. To do this, register it in [Yandex Business](https://yandex.com.tr/support/business-priority/add-company/add-org.html#add-org__verify-1).
