# Manage Favorites and lists of saved places

By default, you have the **Favorites** saved places list that cannot be deleted.

You can create new lists of saved places and choose an icon and color for each list. You can also share these lists.

To create and edit lists of saved places from any device, [log in](https://yandex.com.tr/support/m-maps/en/auth.md) to the app.

## Create a list {#create-a-list}

1. On the home screen, tap ![](_assets/favorite-marks.png).
1. Tap **Create a list**.
1. Enter a name for the list.
1. Select the icon and color for the places from the list on the map.
1. Tap **Done**.
1. Add a description if necessary.
1. Tap **Save**.

## View saved places on the map {#listview}

You can view saved places from a list on the map. They'll be marked with the list's specific icon and color.

To view saved places on the map, use:

  1. Tap ![](_assets/menu-kebab-horizont-2.svg) and select the lists of saved places.
  1. Tap ![](_assets/photo-delete-24-day.svg).
  
  
  To hide the list from the map, tap **![](_assets/layers.svg) →**![](_assets/bookmarks-24-flip-1.svg)**Saved places and transport**.

- Saved places

  
  1. On the home screen, tap ![](_assets/favorite-marks.png).
  1. Open the folder with the place you want to delete.
  1. Collapse it or tap ![](_assets/list.png).
  1. The list will collapse. Saved places will be shown on the map until you close the list.

## Change the list settings {#settings}

1. On the home screen, tap ![](_assets/favorite-marks.png).
1. Tap ![](_assets/menu-kebab-horizont-2.svg) to the right of the list.
1. Select **Edit**.
1. Make edits and tap **Save**.

## Sort lists {#sorting}

1. On the home screen, tap ![](_assets/favorite-marks.png).
1. Tap ![](_assets/menu-kebab-horizont-2.svg) to the right of a list.
1. Select **List order**.
1. Move the list up or down while holding ![](_assets/sort-icon.png).
1. Tap **Done**.

## Share a list {#share-a-list}

You can't share the **Favorites** list.

You can share a link to your list of saved places so others can view it or subscribe to updates.

To share a list:
1. On the home screen, tap ![](_assets/favorite-marks.png).
1. Tap ![](_assets/menu-kebab-horizont-2.svg) to the right of the list.
1. Select **Access settings**.
1. Enable **Allow access**.
1. Tap **Share**.

To stop sharing a list, disable the **Allow access** option.

## Someone shared a list with me {#subscribe}

Open [shared](https://yandex.com.tr/support/m-maps/en/favourites-and-lists.md#share-a-list) links to view places the author has added to their list. To receive list updates, open the list and tap **Subscribe**.

You can check the lists you've subscribed to in **![](_assets/favorite-marks.png) Saved places and transport** → **Saved lists**. While you can't edit them, you can share them with others.

If the author deletes the list or restricts access to it, you won't be able to access it. If you don't want to lose important places, you can add them to saved places and create your own list.

## Delete a list {#deleting-a-list}

1. On the home screen, tap ![](_assets/favorite-marks.png).
1. Tap ![](_assets/menu-kebab-horizont-2.svg) to the right of the list.
1. Tap **Delete list**.

The lists will be permanently deleted.
