How to become an organization owner

These instructions are for organizations that have already been added to Yandex Maps. You can find the instructions for new businesses in How to create an organization.

To become the owner of an organization, pass verification.

Verification

  1. Find your company and go to its profile in Yandex Maps.
  2. Press Are you the owner of this business?.
  3. In the window that opens, select the phone number you want to use for verification. If the phone number isn't listed, find your company in Yandex Maps, click Incorrect information, and add the phone number. To learn more, see Correct or update information.
  4. Wait for an SMS with a verification code and then enter it in the Confirmation code field.
  1. Find your company and go to its profile in Yandex Maps.
  2. Press Are you the owner of this business?.
  3. In the window that opens, select Start video.
  4. Record a video about your business. Follow these requirements:
    • Record your video in one continuous take.
    • The video duration must be between 15 seconds and 5 minutes.
    • Make sure the lighting is good and the video isn't blurry.
    • Include the neighboring businesses in your video.
    • Show your company name on a sign or on the building facade.
    • Go to your service area, open the entrance door or your cash register.
    • Record the video at your business address. Your location when filming must match the company's address specified in your profile.
  5. After submitting your video, you'll receive an SMS with the moderation results.
  6. Follow the link in the SMS to complete verification.
