# Payments

All games are free, but in some of them, you can buy extra time, points, or accessories for your character.

_Yans_ are the internal currency of [Yandex Games](https://yandex.com/games/). All our games use yans.

Yans are stored in your account, so to make payments and purchase yans, you need to log in to Yandex Games using your [Yandex ID](https://passport.yandex.com/profile). You can link a [bank card](https://yandex.com/support/id/banking-cards.html) to your Yandex ID. This way, you won't have to enter your card details every time you make a payment.

## Buy yans {#buy-yans}

1 yan costs 1 Russian ruble. If you make a purchase outside of Russia, the amount is automatically converted to US dollars or euros depending on the region.

To top up your yan balance:

1. In the upper-right corner of the **All games** page, click ![](_images/balance-icon.svg) → **Top up your balance**.
1. Choose a predefined amount of yans or specify the amount (from 5 to 100,000 yans) in the **Other amount** field.

    Purchasing a package will earn you bonuses. The larger the package, the more bonus yans you get.

1. Select a payment method:
    - Use one of the linked cards.
    - Click **Add card** to choose a new card.    

1. Enter the CVC/CVV code.

1. Click **Pay**.

Yans will appear in your account immediately after the transaction is completed.


## Pay with yans {#pay-yans}

Yans are debited automatically when you select an in-game item to buy, provided that you have enough yans on your balance. If you don't have enough yans, you can top up right away:

1. Choose the item you want to buy.
1. In the window that opens, choose a predefined amount of yans or specify the amount in the **Other amount** field.

    If you already have a certain amount on your balance, you will be asked to pay only the remaining amount.

1. Enter your card details or the CVC/CVV code (if you already have a linked card).
1. Click **Pay**.

Yans will appear in your account immediately after the transaction is completed. The item you chose is purchased.

If your payment fails, yans will be credited to your Yandex ID balance. In this case, you'll need to repeat your purchase.

1. Log in to the game.
1. Choose the item and click **Buy and return to game**.
