Creating ads

Tip. You can create a separate campaign for working with video ads, which will allow you to control impressions and the budget spent on video ads. Alternatively, add a group with video ads to an existing campaign and use bids to manage spending.
In the Create campaign drop-down menu, select Text & Image ad. Think up a campaign name and select a region and display strategy. Some of the information will be filled in automatically. Check it and change it as necessary. More about main ad campaign parameters.
Step 1. Specify the ad type

On the ad group creation page, choose Video in Ad type.

Step 2. Add creative

You can use the Ad Builder to design a creative, or you can use a previously created one. You can only add one creative per ad.

Step 3. Set up impression criteria

When serving ads on networks, the system automatically selects ads that have keywords which match the subject matter of the site or the interests of a user. If you have a Yandex.Metrica tag or a Yandex.Audience segment, you can add a retargeting list.

Step 4. Set the bid

Set a bid limit for video ads. The minimum value is 3 RUB (values for other currencies). Configure bid adjustments as necessary. For instance, you can increase your bid for displaying video ads on mobile devices.

Ad moderation and campaign launching

After you create your ad, it will be reviewed to make sure it meets all requirements. Click Send to moderation and confirm that you accept Yandex's terms for publishing your ad. Moderators usually review an ad within a few hours. Moderators do not work at night. On weekends and holidays, moderation might take longer than on business days.

Once your ads are checked, you will receive a notification at the email address you provided when you created the ad campaign; the campaign status in the list will change to “accepted by moderator”

Your ads will begin displaying as soon as Yandex receives your payment.
