How to launch a Search Lift
Search Lift launches at campaign launch and concludes approximately ten days after the impressions have ended. You can enable the survey for campaigns that haven't generated any impressions yet.
Campaign criteria
The Search Lift survey is available for new display campaigns with banners, videos, including non-skippable ones, fixed CPM, and video banners.
Search Lift is not available for campaigns with the "Manual bid management" strategy enabled.
Step 1. Prepare your campaign
Create a new display campaign, specify the main parameters and add ads to it.
Required criteria for Search Lift analysis:
- The campaign duration is 7 days or more.
- Names of the surveyed brands and their products are used.
Step 2. Set up the survey
In the campaign settings, in the Ad analytics section, under Search Lift, specify the objects of your survey:

Brand names: Enter up to three names.

Your advertised offer: List up to five names of products or services.
To add a new name, click in the field next to it.

For each brand, product, or service, use no more than 50 characters including spaces.

Avoid mentioning individual products and services in brand names and vice versa. All data is matched automatically.

When specifying brands and offers, don't use special characters and operators (such as
+,!," "): they don't work in the survey and may lead to incorrect results. -
Avoid using the names of your competitors: doing so may impact the campaign's performance.
Search queries based on the specified brands and promoted offers are selected by semantic matching. That is, the query can include not only a name but its synonyms, rephrasings, and mistypings.

You can only change the names of your brands and their products at the campaign creation step.
Step 3. Submit your campaign for moderation
If the campaign has passed moderation, the survey will start automatically. Once you start your campaign, you can't change names in the Search Lift section.
Survey launch recommendations
- Set your budget amount to RUB 300,000 or more.
- Set the campaign duration to at least 21 days.
- Make sure the campaign reach is at least 1,000,000 users and the number of impressions is 5,000,000 or more.
