# How to select channels from the catalog
Use filters in your [campaign settings](https://yandex.com.tr/support/direct/en/messengers-ads/create-views.md) to find specific channels. The system automatically generates a list of relevant channels.

|
Filter channels by platform.
Select the apps where you'd like to run your ads: **Telegram**, **MAX**, or both.

Channel category
|
Find channels by specific topics.
For example, "Business and marketing", "Blogs", and so on.

Projected cost
|
Filter for channels with a placement cost within your selected range.
||
||
CPV
|
Filter channels by cost per view (CPV) within a specified range.
||
||
Subscribers
|
Find channels based on the number of subscribers.
For example, up to 5000 subscribers, from 5000 to 10,000 subscribers, and so on.

||
Gender
|
Find channels with a predominantly male or female audience.
||
||
Region
|
Find channels from specific countries, regions, or cities.
||
||
Similar channels
|
Find channels with topics and audiences similar to the ones you specify.
To find channels:
1. Select the "Similar channels" filter.
2. Enter the name or link of one or more public channels where you'd like to run your ads. If you add multiple channels, the system shows options similar to at least one of your entries.
3. Click **Apply**.

Similar audience
|
Find channels with an audience similar to your site users. Similar users are identified using [Crypta](https://yandex.com.tr/support/direct/en/technologies-and-services/crypta.md) technology.
To find channels:
1. Select the "Similar audience" filter.
2. Specify one or more Yandex Metrica tags you have access to. If you add multiple tags, the system uses the OR operator to find relevant channels.
3. Click **Apply**.

Channels from file
|
Find channels from your uploaded list.
To find channels:
1. Select the "Channels from file" filter.
2. Upload a file with a list of channels.
File requirements:
- Format: XLSX
- Column title: `Link to channel`
- Data: URL in `https://t.me/...`, `https://max.ru/...`, `https://web.max.ru/...` format
You can also upload a report file you received by clicking  at the bottom of the channel selection window. Remove any channels you don't need. You don't need to delete the additional columns or make other changes to the file.
The system will display the channels found in the Yandex Direct catalog.
