# Step 3. Create ads
Add your ad and customize its layout.
To ensure your ad can appear across all suitable screens, create a custom ad for each format. A list of formats compatible with your selected screens is displayed when creating an ad.

- For taxis and storefronts
Under **Video**, click **Add**.
**Requirements for video clips**
- Animation type: 2D or 3D.
- Duration: 10 seconds.
- Text size: No more than 40% of the total area.
- Video sequence: Gradual 250 ms fade-in and fade-out at the beginning and end of the video.
- Codec: H.264.
- Frame rate: 25 frames per second.
- Bitrate: Up to 8000 kbps.
- Maximum file size: 20 MB.
- Audio track: None.
- Format: MP4.
- For pillars
**Requirements**
- Animation type: **Animated static images** with frame changes no more than once every 2.5 seconds.
- Duration: 5 seconds, with the first and last 0.5 seconds used for fade-in and fade-out. Video: Not supported.
- Size: 512 × 1216 pixels.
- Subtitles: None.
- Minimum text size: 8 pixels.
- Pixels: Square.
- Background: Color value in each RGB channel must not exceed 240. You can't use a full-screen white background.
- Audio track: None.
- Codec: H.264/MPEG-4 Part 10 or AVC.
- Format: MP4 (MPEG4).
**Recommendations**
- Fonts: Use a simple, normal-weight sans-serif font for text smaller than 10 pixels.
- Bitrate: 10–26 Mbps.
- Frame rate: 25 frames per second.
- Encoding: 2-pass.
- Codec profile: Main 4:2:0.
- Color depth: 8 bit.
- Scanning: Progressive.

**Additional requirements**
- Consider the format of outdoor advertising: use large elements without small details to ensure your images and messages are easy to see for pedestrians.
- Videos must contain all information required by law and the [Yandex Ad Serving Rules](https://yandex.ru/legal/general_adv_rules/ru/), including [age restrictions and notices](https://yandex.com.tr/support/direct/en/moderation/age-alerts.md#image-ads-and-video). Notices that overlap other design elements must be placed on a bar to ensure contrast and visibility.
- Ads must not interfere with traffic: make sure your video doesn't contain any traffic signs, abrupt movements, or flashing elements.
