Blocking dangerous pages

Yandex Browser for Mobile warns you when you go to a dangerous site, although it's not a full-fledged antivirus product. Yandex Browser protects your device against threats that antivirus programs don't block. We recommend using both for full protection.

When you open a web page, Yandex Browser checks it against a database of infected sites. If the page is found in the database, it won't load. You'll see a notification, and the  icon will appear in the SmartBox. You can nevertheless choose to ignore the warning and visit a website with dangerous content.

Attention. We highly recommend that you do not visit such websites. Malicious code could infect your computer or give hackers access to your personal information and electronic payments.
