The beta version of Yandex Browser may be less stable and differ from the main version

Side panel

By default, the side panel is pinned to the left side of Yandex Browser (beta).

What's on the side panel:

  • История — History.

  • Заметки — Notes, where you can save ideas and other important info.

  • Воспроизвести — Manage music.

  • Число открытых вкладок — Tab manager.

  • Скриншот — Take a screenshot.

  • Веб-приложения — Applications.

  • Меню боковой панели — Side panel menu.

Customize your side panel:

Enable
  1. Click Настройки Яндекс Браузера → Settings → Interface.
  2. Under Side panel, select Show side panel.
Customize the display

  1. Click Настройки Яндекс Браузера → Settings → Interface.

  2. Under Side panel, enable the following options:

    • Show side panel: The panel only appears when you hover over the left edge.

    • Pin when viewing sites: The panel always appears on the left.

Remove icons

  1. Click Меню боковой панели → Tools.

  2. Clear the checkbox for the icon you want to hide.

Note

You can't remove the Веб-приложения button from the side panel.

Disable
  1. Click Настройки Яндекс Браузера → Settings → Interface.
  2. Under Side panel, deselect Show side panel.
