Terms of Service for YaÖzet

1. General Provisions:

1.1. Büyük Reklam Çözümleri Limited Şirketi (hereinafter referred to as "Yandex") offers users of the Internet (hereinafter referred to as "User") to use the YaÖzet service, available at the address: yandex.com.tr/yaozet (hereinafter referred to as "Service").

1.2. These Terms are an addition to the User Agreement for Yandex services regarding the use of the Service. In everything not covered by these Terms, the relationship between Yandex and the User in connection with the use of the Service is regulated by:

1.3. By starting to use the Service/its individual functions, the User acknowledges that he has read, understood, agreed accepted these Terms as well as the terms of all the above-mentioned documents in full, without any reservations or exceptions. These Terms and Terms of all of the Regulatory Documents become applicable as of the moment the User first accesses the Service. In case of disagreement with any provisions of these documents, the User has no right to use the Service.

1.4. These Terms can be changed by Yandex without any special notice, and the new edition of the Terms comes into force at the time of its publication on the Internet at the address specified in this paragraph, unless otherwise provided by the new edition of the Terms. The current edition of the Terms is always available at: https://yandex.com.tr/legal/yaozet_termsofuse/

1.5. If Yandex has made any changes to these Terms in the manner provided for in section 1.4., with which the User disagrees, they must stop using the Service. Continued use of the Service constitutes the User’s commitment to comply with these amendments.

2. Use of the Service. Certain Functions of the Service:

2.1. Yandex provides the User with free access to the Service, with which the User can automatically generate a shortened text description (hereinafter referred to as "Summary"):

2.1.1. Web pages, which will be placed in the Service and available to other Users via a direct link.

2.1.2. Texts entered by the User into a special window of the Service or documents uploaded by the User.

2.1.3. Video materials placed on web pages, with respect to which the User wants to receive a Summary.

2.1.4. Summaries of web pages or other content proactively created by Yandex based on popular search queries and presented within the Service.

2.2. To generate a Summary, the User must enter their text into a special field of the Service, specify the URL of a web page or video material, the description of which they want to generate in the Service, after which the Service, acting on the User's instructions, returns a Summary of the web page, video material, or their text. Additionally, Yandex may create and publish Summaries in the Service for content it selects under Clause 2.1.4. In either case, the Service, acting on instruction, returns a Summary of the web page, video material, or text to the User.

2.3. The resulting Summary based on video material is placed in the Service and becomes available to all Internet users, except in cases where access to the original video material is restricted by privacy settings and the video material is not publicly accessible. The User has the opportunity to copy the link to the resulting Summary or go to the web page that was used to generate the Summary. Yandex does not guarantee the accuracy or legal compliance of the Summary. The User is obliged to independently verify the accuracy of the resulting Summary, as well as assess the risks associated with the use, placement of the Summary in the Service, and distribution of the obtained information, including compliance of the Summary with the requirements specified in section 2.5 of the Terms.

2.4. The Service is provided to the User exclusively for personal non-commercial use.

2.5. When using the Service, the User is prohibited from generating Summaries based on User texts, uploaded documents, web pages, and video materials, as well as distributing Summaries if the following information and materials are present on such web pages, uploaded documents, in video materials, in User texts, or in the resulting Summaries:

2.5.1. that are illegal and/or prohibited for distribution in accordance with applicable law;

2.5.2. containing defamation or insults to any persons or organizations, inciting ethnic discord, promoting hatred and/or discrimination against people based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, social status, and other characteristics;

2.5.3. containing obscene language;

2.5.4. shocking and disgusting, as well as demonstrating violence and cruelty, including descriptions and visualizations of murders, physical injuries, self-harm, suicide, torture, rape, sacrifices, consequences of disasters and accidents, wars and combat actions, cruelty to animals;

2.5.5. pornographic and/or erotic materials, including those involving minors;

2.5.6. demonstrating or describing the creation, use, or other use of alcohol or narcotic substances;

2.5.7. infringing copyright, trademark rights, methods of individualization, and/or rights to other intellectual property objects belonging to third parties;

2.5.8. all other illegal content prohibited under Turkish law.

2.6. Yandex reserves the right to, at its own discretion, delete any Summary generated by the User and posted on the Service, as well as restrict the User's access to the Service (or certain functions of the Service, if technologically possible) or completely block the User account upon violation of these Terms and other documents specified in p. 1.2 of the Terms, or apply other measures to the User to comply with legislative requirements or the rights and lawful interests of third parties.

3. Use of Summaries. Intellectual Rights:

3.1. All rights to the Service, including software, design, and its individual elements, as well as the artificial intelligence technology used in it, belong to Yandex.

3.2. The User has the right to use the Summaries created by them or other Users using the Service for personal non-commercial purposes, in compliance with sections 2.5. and 3.6. of these Terms.

3.3. Summaries generated upon the User's request may be used by Yandex for any purpose and in any way at its discretion throughout the world without time limitation, including for the purpose of improving Yandex's algorithms and technologies, to post in the Service, as well as in other Yandex services, in advertising and marketing materials to draw attention to the Service, other Yandex services and products and/or third-party services, as well as on other resources, channels, and pages owned by Yandex.

3.4. Summaries are created automatically using artificial intelligence technologies, due to which the resulting Summaries may not be unique and may completely or partially coincide with the Summaries created at the request of other Users.

Using the Service to create Summaries, as well as using the Summaries already posted in the Service, the User assumes all risks, including those related to the violation of third-party exclusive rights if they do not comply with the guarantees specified in section 2.5. of the Terms.

Yandex has no obligation to monitor or review content submitted to the Service. However, Yandex reserves the right to take preventive or corrective measures, including content removal, based on automated systems or User complaints.

3.5. By starting to use the Service, the User warrants that they do not and will not undertake any actions aimed at bypassing the technical means of protection against unauthorized use of the Service. Any copying, reproduction, modification, distribution, public release, circumvention of technical protection means or other use of the Service elements, Images and/or Texts outside the framework of the opportunities provided by the Service, and any commercial use without the prior consent of Yandex is prohibited.

3.6. It is prohibited to use the Service and/or its elements, as well as Summaries obtained using it, for the purpose of testing or training models operating on artificial intelligence technologies.

4. Other Provisions:

4.1. Due to the nature of the Service, it is provided "as is". Yandex does not guarantee the Service's compliance with the User's goals and expectations, the safety of data presented and posted by the User in the Service, the uninterrupted and error-free operation of the Service in general, and its specific functionalities, in particular. Yandex reserves the right to, at any time, completely or partially change the functional capabilities provided by the Service.

4.2. Summaries are generated using artificial intelligence models and may contain inaccuracies, outdated data, or interpretations not intended by the original content authors. Yandex assumes no responsibility for the interpretive quality or semantic accuracy of AI-generated content.

4.3. Yandex is not responsible for the content of the Summary, the accuracy, relevance, correctness of the information reflected in the Summary obtained through the Service. The Summary is not an expression of anyone's opinion, position of Yandex, or statement of facts. Under no circumstances can the content of the Summary be considered as guidance or advice in making decisions or taking any actions. This applies regardless of whether the Summary was generated upon a direct user request or created proactively by Yandex.

4.4. If the User believes that the content of the Summary violates the law and/or infringes the rights and interests of third parties, they are entitled to use the feedback form placed in the Service interface and report the Summary.

4.5. User Data obtained while using the Service is processed under the conditions specified in the Privacy Policy, posted at: https://yandex.com.tr/legal/privacy_policy/.

4.6. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any and all disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Istanbul (Caglayan) Courts and Execution Offices.
