We’re looking for a passionate leader to launch and scale a brand-new cloud business, pioneering global success.
About our project
Cloud-based data management is the fastest-growing part of the Yandex.Cloud platform and globally makes up a market worth approximately $40B. To leverage our unique expertise and scale our regional cloud business, we are building a brand-new data management platform on top of global cloud infrastructure providers: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and Alibaba Cloud. We are focused on data analytics and data warehousing scenarios to enhance data-driven business decision-making processes and make them cheaper and faster. Cloud-agnostic by design, the platform combines open-source data engines with our proprietary data visualization and management tools. End-to-end scenarios for various industries, faster time-to-market, and exceptionally competitive pricing are the key differentiators. The project is operated as a spin-off and separate brand from the primary Yandex.Cloud business.
Geographies include major hubs in Europe and the US. Remote work is an option; regional office locations to be selected.

You will:

  • launch new business operations in the EU and US;
  • lead and unite a cross-functional business team;
  • define a go-to-market strategy in cooperation with the product owner and CEO;
  • balance resources and priorities to meet business goals.

We expect you to have:

  • experience launching a software/services business from scratch;
  • the ability to lead by example using a hands-on approach;
  • a relevant background in B2B tech brands (US, EMEA, LATAM, or APAC markets);
  • exceptional motivational skills and a growth mindset;
  • an analytical mindset to support management decisions built on data;
  • a willingness to work with ambiguity and adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment;
  • effective influencing and communication skills to work in the context of a geographically distributed and diverse team;
  • proficiency in English, with knowledge of Russian, French, German, Spanish, or other European languages an advantage.
