Compliance Specialist

Yandex is looking for a Compliance Specialist.

Tasks that await you

Oversee compliance-related risks
You will be acting as the first point of contact for business teams with compliance-related questions. You must review the company’s activities (sponsorships, donations, partnerships with non-profit organizations, gifts, hospitality requests, and more) to ensure compliance with applicable anti-corruption laws and internal policies. You will also be responsible for drafting compliance clauses and formulating opinions, conducting third-party due diligence checks, and developing compliance procedures and instructions. This position also requires you to implement new controls to prevent compliance-related risks, participate in internal investigations as a subject matter expert, and organize and participate in compliance training programs.

We expect that you

Have a law degree or equivalent
Have 5+ years of compliance experience with a law firm or in-house
Possess excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Exhibit flexible thinking and the ability to work independently and as a member of a team, and to work within limited timeframes
Have good communication and presentation skills
Have a good understanding of international sanctions, export control restriction regulations, and enforcement practices with experience advising businesses in these areas
